Tone Troiano

Hi, my name is Tone Troiano and I’m a degenerate fly angler. I started fly fishing over a decade ago living in California, for Trout, Salmon, Steelhead, Bass and Striper, primarily. I’ve fished the west coast and Alaska, honing my skills and exploring some of the most remote waters in the nation for wild fish before relocating to MA and cutting my teeth a bit more in the salt during the coastal striper migrations, following and stalking them all along the New England coastline. From there, I moved to south FL to really immerse myself in a warm water fishery with new species, techniques and challenges. I enjoy tying bigger baitfish patterns, but understand the need for smaller crustaceans around these parts too. I’ll keep whippin’ while they keep sippin’. I love to share my experiences on and off the water with our community, and eagerly learn new styles and techniques from fellow tiers and anglers. Check out some of my evolving works on Instagram @Tone___ and let me know what you think or want to see next!
