Squimpish Flies makes synthetic fly tying fibers designed for movement, durability, and versatility at the vise. Individual Squimpish Hair fibers maintain a consistent diameter from root to tip, while staggered fiber lengths create a natural-looking taper for baitfish, streamers, Hollow Fleyes, predator flies, and saltwater patterns.

The material is lightweight, colorfast, easy to blend and stack, and retains little to no water. Tyers can cut it to the length they need, then reshuffle or restack the fibers to restore the tapered profile.

Our current fly tying materials include Squimpish Hair, Squimpish Hair XL, Boutique Blends, Spec Blends, Loose Fiber, and short-format specialty materials. Each family gives tyers a different way to build color, length, movement, and profile without relying on natural hair alone.

From compact baitfish patterns to oversized predator flies, Squimpish materials can be layered, blended, stacked, trimmed, and combined with flash or natural bucktail to create custom profiles for freshwater and saltwater fly tying.
