Squimpish Hair
Synthetic Fly Tying Hair Built for Better Baitfish
Squimpish Hair is a synthetic fly tying fiber designed for tyers who want the versatility of natural hair with the consistency, durability, and length of a synthetic material.
Unlike natural hair, each Squimpish fiber maintains a consistent diameter from root to tip. You can cut the material to the length you need, then reshuffle or restack the fibers to recreate a natural-looking taper for baitfish, streamers, Hollow Fleyes, predator flies, and saltwater patterns.
Squimpish Hair retains little to no water and can also be layered sparsely over natural bucktail when you want bucktail structure with added synthetic length and movement.

Why Fly Tyers Use Squimpish Hair
Squimpish Hair is a long synthetic fly tying fiber designed for tyers who want consistency, durability, and more control over the profile of their flies.
It can be stacked, blended, trimmed, and shaped for everything from small baitfish and streamers to Hollow Fleyes, pike flies, musky flies, and larger saltwater patterns.
Because the fibers are available in longer lengths and retain very little water, Squimpish Hair is especially useful when you want to build bigger flies without creating a heavy, waterlogged pattern.
