A Fly tyer, Fly fisherman, and father of two awesome girls who love to come fishing with me.
Grew up in the Lake District, UK. I’d say I've been fishing on and off for 20 years. But more so in the last 5 years as a means of escapism from daily life. Fly tying came about by accident and something I just fell into, but took off big time as an addiction, striving for perfection, whatever that is. Starting with trout flies and moving to bass and pike flies. Using Bob Popovics and Paul Monaghan to learn bucktail techniques and moved on to synthetics when my friend Stu, gave me some advice. I discovered squimpish after some shopping around to make some brushes and I've never looked back.
